TALI Swan Timber

Freshly cut, the heartwood of Tali is yellow to orange-brown. After exposure to light and air, this darkens to dark brown or dark red-brown. The relatively narrow sapwood, a maximum of 60 mm thick, is yellow-grey to dark yellow. With Tali, there are large variations in colour caused by the different growing conditions. The structure of the wood however is extremely uniform without any distinct marking. Sometimes darker coloured streaks can occur.
